Soylutions, Inc. was started in 1999 by two successful McLeansboro
farmers, Kenny Lasater and Roger Swartz.  It began with a thought of storing
grain in the empty silos located on a vacant coal mine site.  This thought
turned into hopes of turning this site into an agricultural-based industrial
complex, which would one day create much needed jobs in this area.  This
transformation has involved several steps, including the participation and
cooperation of various governmental agencies.  This process has also involved
renovation and reclamation of the property, which included demolition of the
prep plant, filling three mine shafts, tower removal, excavation, and
revegetation.  Along the way, Soylutions has become very qualified and
experienced and have successfully bid several other related reclamation
projects.

Soylutions is moving towards rehabilitation of the existing loop track for
unit trains to create a major loading and off-loading facility for grain and other
agricultural products.

Wabash Valley Service Company, who consolidated four of their local
plants, is now leasing from Soylutions.  They are located in a 50,000 square
foot building on site.  This building houses their offices, a large meeting room,
seed and feed storage, liquid fertilizer, and chemicals.  An up-to-date loading
system has been installed with two bays in which they can offer quicker and
more efficient service to farmers.  A dry bulk fertilizer Dome building, which
can hold up to 40,000 tons of product, and a million gallon liquid tank have
also been built on site for Wabash Valley's use.

Soylutions, Inc. is still constantly evolving to fill the needs at hand.
